Gloucestershires Eastleach church of St. Michael and St. Martin, was the location of Eppie and Jack’s wedding last year. Having a family friend to take their photos meant they were missing some couple shots for their album and that is where I came in.
They wanted some very natural ‘country’ shots of themselves around the River Leach, their favourite spot for family walks. And in particular, the amazing cotswold stone bridge over it. And having rained a lot earlier in the week, the flood meadow was doing it’s job very well, hence the wellies!
When you have two little kiddies, both under five, running around you the whole day and a husband with a super busy job, when do you get the chance to spend time together? Their session gave them exactly that. Time. Together.
We just had fun down by the river and took our time. Breathed. Smelt the fresh air and spring grass. They enjoyed the sunshine and felt the warmth on their faces. Held hands and cuddled.
And here is their collection of photographs to enjoy forever…
