A Guildhall Wedding in Bath
Love it, thank you,
Just wanted to say a big thank you for last Friday. You made it so easy having photos taken because we all felt very comfortable with you.
When I got a call from Clare about her wedding day, I was very excited about the plans. She and her fiance, Michael, we’re going to run away and there was only going to be the witnesses and 1 other guest present. Wow!
I was super chuffed to be their chosen wedding photographer. It felt a real honour. And I know I am good at keeping secrets too!
Michael and Clare were blessed with sunshine on the day. The registrar made us all feel so welcome and relaxed during the ceremony. William, their gorgeous boy, was a little star and because the ceremony was so relaxed, little interruptions to have a snack and wander
around, were perfectly natural.
There was plenty of laughter too, which made the proceedings such fun and a really memorable occasion. All made possible by, among other things, the groom saying his name in the wrong order! And the best man dropping the all-important paperwork, just as
the bride and groom were trying to walk back down the aisle!
Handmade leaf confetti was perfect for the must-have shots out on the street.
We headed off to Parade Gardens then, to get some relaxed couple shots before the wedding party headed off for lunch. The columned walkway was great for getting away from the crowds and giving the bride and groom some precious them time. All made possible since the best man was fantastic at keeping William amused, playing Pooh Sticks in the nearby river.
Lastly, I just wanted to get a couple of bridal shots, of Clare wearing her stunning Christian Louboutin heels, with the red soles. You know the ones. When she took them off for the detail shot, I noticed that she had a lucky sixpence in then. I loved that.
Driving home that day, my thoughts went to the impending reveal after their honeymoon.
Just so you knowfamily and friends were soooo pleased for them. Phew!
